California Speed is a medium resolution game which means that the gonbes adapter settings need to be changed to medium resolution mode to display anything. A post I read a while back on one of the arcade forums mentioned something about changing the clamp st and clamp sp settings. Here’s a link to the manual that mentions something about these settings: http://info-coach.fr/atari/hardware/video/GBS-8200.pdf. You might try adjusting them to see if you get anything. Tried to use a gonbes 8200 converter card. After many days of troubleshooting, all I can get out of the card is a black screen. Tried all of the recommended settings. My question is how can I test my jamma video outputs to isolate the pcb or video card ?
